What documents should I include in my application?
In order for us to make a good assessment of you, we need your last school report, the leaving certificate from your training programme, a complete CV, and where available: work references, certificates, qualifications, such as welding permits, forklift licence etc.
Is it possible to view my future workplace?
Yes, that is possible! Just arrange an appointment by calling us on 03525 / 5069-0.
Can I work for Rime on a trial basis?
Yes, that is possible. You can work for us on a trial basis for a maximum period of 14 days.
Do I have to travel away on jobs?
No, as a contract manufacturer we manufacture products to customer requirements, but do not undertake assembly work.
How long does the probationary period last?
Every new employee at Rime starts on a fixed-term employment contract of one year. This includes the probationary period of 6 months. If everything turns out OK, the contract will be converted into a permanent employment contract.
How will my strengths be encouraged?
There are job instructions in every department. These are further training courses that take place directly within the company. There is also the possibility of participating in external maintenance and training courses.
Are there promotion prospects at Rime?
Experienced employees from the shop floor have the possibility of switching to the CAD or sales departments.
Why are there so many vacancies?
We have undergone enormous expansion since 2010. We have invested in new machinery in all departments and built a new production space. Over the past few years this has created over 40 new jobs, for which there are still some vacancies.
What challenges are Rime confronted with?
In our sector, there are many firms across Germany whom we have to compete with. The shortage of qualified specialists is also a major problem for us.
