CREUSABRO is wear-resistant steel. This steel is very resistant and also withstands large load. CREUSABRO is use where severe attrition or other aggressive wear phenomena occur. This steel is mainly used for the production of Wearing parts for machines and vehicles in mining, cement works and in quarries.
CREUSABRO is divided into different grades, each of which can be easily cut using plasma or laser cutting.
It is available in the following grades:
is austenitic manganese steel. That steel grade is available in 2-40mm thicknesses with a surface hardness of 200HB. During loading by striking or even pressure, the surface is very highly strain hardened by up to 500HB (Brinell). Preheating the workpiece for welding is to be avoided. Bending or rolling is no problem. Due to its strain hardening the material can only be sheared up to 10mm and is only possible with very sharp cutters. This steel is used for the production of sand blasting systems, stone crushers and even hard facings.
it is an oil-quenched and tempered hard steel that is additionally alloyed with titanium. It is available in thicknesses of 10-50 mm with a surface hardness of 450-490 HB. This steel also has the favourable property of strain hardening by striking or pressure on the top layer. All the usual welding procedures are possible. That steel grade is very tear resistant, ductile and robust against attrition and impact loads, this steel is used in the production of chutes, hoppers, screens and excavator buckets.
is an oil-quenched and tempered, titanium-alloyed, highly wear resistant steel. It is available in thicknesses from 3-150mm and a surface hardness of 360-430HB. Due to its high temperature resistance, hot working up to 500°C with subsequent air cooling is possible. Cold working, e.g. by bending is also easy to carry out. When welding with any standard procedure, attention must be paid to the pre-heat temperatures.
is an oil-quenched and tempered, highly wear resistant steel. It is available in thicknesses of 4-60mm and with a surface hardness of 470-540HB. Due to its high temperature resistance, hot working up to 500°C with subsequent air cooling is possible. Cold working, e.g. by bending is also easy to carry out. CREUSABRO 8000 is used wherever the material is subject to extreme wear. The steel is therefore used to produce stone crushers, mining machinery (coal, ore) as well as in scrap preparation plants.
